The importance of air cleaning systems in critical environments, hospitals, and in home use by people with allergies, asthma, and other respiratory problems imposes a moral obligation on the members of IAACM to maintain high standards of integrity and competence. IAACM members strive to establish the image of the air cleaning industry as one deserving the respect of consumers and government bodies.

With this in mind:

Professional ethical conduct is expected of every member.

Members efforts shall be directed at all times to enhancing the interests of public health, safety, and welfare.

Public statements will only be issued in an objective and truthful manner.

Members agree to serve customers at all times with integrity, competence, and objectivity.

Members ensure that advertising is honest, accurate, and forthright.

Members ensure that their products will not use "unhealthy" technologies, nor will they produce substances harmful or unhealthy to consumers.

Members will strictly adhere to all local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations affecting the industry.

Members will work with professional and government organizations to improve the standards of our industry and the quality of products that are available to the consumer.

Members' actions will always be guided by a desire to make effective air cleaning solutions available to the consumer.
